Garden Designers Kate Savill and Tamara Bridge approached me to help them with some branding, a brochure and a set of business cards to help them promote their garden at the 2017 RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
The Garden is part of the Radio 2 'Feel Good Gardens' and with the help of Jo Malone and Jo Whiley they have designed a garden which draws attention to the visitor’s sensory response to scent and the power it has to enhance mood, lift spirits and improve wellbeing.
"Unlocking memories through scent allows the mind to drift, be soothed and comforted. Visitors are encouraged to reconnect with their emotions and the world around them. In the space of a few steps in a garden, the visitor can be immersed in their own thoughts or simply breathe deeply in the fresh air."
I worked closely with Kate and Tamara to develop a style which would encapsulate the feel of the garden in a simple and sophisticated way. We opted for a soft touch laminate over a deep plum colour inspired by the colour of the roses in the garden. A holographic foil logo is like a multicoloured twirling aroma of all different scents you will experience in the garden.
